Javier serves as a Development Manager for Pensam Development.
His responsibilities include site sourcing, underwriting, deal structuring, and planning for new development opportunities.
Prior to joining Pensam Development, Javier worked at CRC Companies, a private real estate development and investment firm, where he was engaged in the entitlement, design, and construction of various residential developments. In that capacity, Javier was responsible for managing a $5 million capital improvement program at a 406-unit property in Washington, DC, including upgrades to the property’s building systems, security system, elevators, offices, lobby, and common areas.
Javier is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and a Board Member of Mayan Hope, a non-profit organization that provides a cost-free education to children in rural Guatemala with a variety of special needs.
Javier holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Duke University.
